Faking the Funk

We all hate fakers. Every single one of those no good, lying, pieces of crap. I hate being lied to and deceived. You know the type. The ones who hand out “I’m sorry” like candy on Halloween. The “Oh it’s no problem” and complain to the first person they see to talk behind your back. Then why do YOU do it? Yes you. You are the biggest liar you know. Are you truly honest with your feelings? Do you not lie to yourself and your family on a regular basis? You may not see it as a lie but more of a filter. Well that is because if we want to be a part of society we need to lie. Sugarcoat everything to keep the peace. “Oh no I am sorry, you do not watch where you are walking and stepped on my foot” Do you truly love your job and where you are in life. Have you found your passion? Or have you convinced yourself that this pays the bills and allows me to stay afloat? It is a survival mechanism. Yes, were I am is safe. What I am saying is that we all do it, and it helps to live in this world together? Is this a good or a bad thing?  Does it help the world as we know it, or is it killing us from the inside out like a cancer? Thanks for reading, and keep it real.
